Fundraising is an important part of keeping our swim fees manageable. There are several opportunities for families to generate fundraising dollars.

Fundscrip

COBRA Swim Club is pleased to announce that we are now members of the Fundscrip program. This program is a new way to support COBRA through your everyday shopping, budgeting and gift giving without any additional cost to you! Purchasing gift cards at www.fundscrip.com from over 100 Canadian retailers can earn up to 15% cash back! 100% of the profits made from the program will be going into the family fundraising account. Family, friends and neighbours are also invited to participate in our fundraising efforts.

It’s simple

Go to www.fundscrip.com. Order your cards by 9:30am on a Monday. All orders will be shipped to the pool. Cards arrive at the COBRA Office every second Friday.

There is a Recurring Order feature that you can choose to automatically receive those gift cards you use on a regular basis (major grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Petro-Canada and many more).

Norcard

This fundraiser will offer exceptional quality and designed full colour Seasonal cards and all occasion boxed greeting cards, kids activity calendars, a beautiful assortment of 2012 calendars and more items, at very affordable prices. This Canadian company also provides a 45% return for any sales made (this comes back to you). Take this offer to your place of work, neighbours, friends and show your family, all orders will be filled by the end of November. Just in time for your holiday mailing. You will be pleasantly surprised with the results and quality. Brochures, order forms and a sample card will follow early September.

MacMillan’s

This fundraiser usually runs in the fall. MacMillan’s offers tasty items such as cookie doughs, muffin batters, gourmet pizza, cheescakes, peanut free selections and holiday treats. Order forms will be handed out by your pool reps when they become available. Return runs between $2.00 to $4.00 per each box purchased. Visit www.macmillans.ca to read about the products available.

MacGregors

This fundraiser usually runs in the spring. You can sell the same “Centre-of-the-plate” products served by major hotels, restaurants, and the foodservice industry throughout Canada. Over the years chefs of major restaurants have come to rely on the MacGregors line of “Centre-of-the-plate” products. These food products have been served to millions of restaurant patrons. A return of 20% to 30% will be credited to your family account. Visit www.macgregors.com to read about the products available.
