Head Coach Bill O’Toole and the National Group swimmers attended the 2011 Team Aquatic Dash for Cash swim meet the weekend of December 9th, 2011 at the University of Guelph. The weekend event was hosted by the Guelph Marlins Swim Club and showcased teams from across the region.

COBRA’s swimmers dominated the meet and were victorious in each of their categories. Congratulations to the National Group swimmers and Head Coach Bill O’Toole for their continuous hard work and determination in achieving excellence in swimming. Here are your top place winners.

19-year-old Esther Haines had an outstanding meet capturing two 1st place finishes in the 200m freestyle and the 200m individual medley and two 3rd place finishes in the 200m backstroke and 200m breaststroke.

In the 15 years of age category Bavindeep Basra captured 2nd place in the 200m individual medley. Stefano Gardiman finished 1st in the 50m freestyle and 2nd in the 200m backstroke.

14-year-old Danicca Sinanan finished with a 1st place medal in the 100m backstroke and Danai Sisouphanh finished with two 1st place medals in the 100m and 200m breaststroke.
