Cobra swimmers attended the 2012 John Grootveld Officials Classic meet on April 13th to the 15th. Eleven teams from across the region showcased their talent during the three-day swim event, which was held at the University of Toronto and hosted by the Toronto Swim Club.
The Spring Turbo Charge Meet proved to be great way to spend an Easter Sunday morning for the Olympic Way White team. Swimmers showed up bright and early and ready to kick off the long course season. Here are some of the highlights of that day events.

COBRA swimmers participated in the 2012 Pentathlon Swim Meet held at the Etobicoke Olympium on April 13 – 15, 2012. This event is a unique and grueling swim meet that tests swimmers for both speed and endurance.
COBRA athletes coached by Tony Cowx and Jorge Neves traveled to McMaster University to kick off the Long Course season in style at the GHAC Spring Invitational. The swimmers quickly adjusted to the 50m pool to bring home many top 5 finishes.
